The Business Programs and Delivery provides support and subject matter expertise on the development, management, and implementation of programs that align to various areas throughout the organization. Job Description

Do you like leading professionals in operationalizing business specific related programs that meet the organization’s mandate? If yes, then we have an opportunity for you. We are looking for someone for the position of Manager II, Business Program to handle a specialized functional area in the achievement of the business sales/service strategy. In this role, you will handle a team of professionals providing program and control related services to partners. In addition, you will:

  • Act as a key reference point and subject matter expert for programs and processes relating to area of expertise
  • Provide business subject matter expertise on various organizing committees in the development and delivery of business programs, as appropriate
  • Ensure team adheres to enterprise frameworks and methodologies related to overall business management activities
  • Lead relationships with corporate and/or control functions to ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements to ensure the optimal use of resources
  • Execute on the annual business plan to deliver results aligned with business strategies
  • Be responsible for handling the overall team providing both leadership and mentorship
  • Set targets and objectives for the team, and deliver results
  • Grow team expertise to align with business/enterprise demand and direction; assess team skills and capabilities and continually look for ways to provide and improve the value delivered
  • Provide people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, handling employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting collaboration and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required
  • Lead a team of professionals and overall operation of a diverse group in an area of moderate risk, complexity or scope
  • Ensure an integrated approach with other business management areas, broader organization, and enterprise as appropriate

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and/or over 7 years of relevant experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business and operational functions supported, related processes and regulations applicable to supported regions
  • Exceptional leadership skills to handle teams with functional diversity, complexity and multiple points of internal and external contact
  • Excellent analytical skills in assessing and handling risk profile for team processes
  • Proficient in using productivity tools and end-user software
  • Strong communication skills with a positive approach that can liaise with cross functional teams, colleagues, partners, and employees to achieve medium to long term goals
  • Robust organizational skills with the ability to work in a demanding environment and handle multiple deadlines and priorities
