Supervisor, Contracts Administration and Pricing

This is a Contract position in Ottawa, ON posted November 18, 2020.

Position Summary:

Organizes, staffs and directs the internal activities of a group of coordinators within the Contracts Administration and Pricing Department. Actively and positively promotes company goals and objectives. Develops staff through coaching, training and ongoing communication. Maintains a positive and motivating working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In daily assignment of work provides subject matter leadership to sales teams on product selection, contract and pricing strategies, and implementations to include direct coaching of sales teams via email, in person, and over the phone
  • Plans, organizes and assigns the work of a Contracts Administration Department
  • Ensures Contract proposals are accurate, agree with Fisheru2019s policies, have proper approvals according to the dollar limits of authority and are received by customer before due date.
  • Conducts regular team meetings
  • Assists in the development of skill level by providing coaching, training and stretch objectives
  • Works closely with other departments to maximize efficiency and internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Identify, validate, and execute opportunities for sales performance improvements
  • Ensures periodic reports and files are created and distributed by the team.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting/Finance/Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of work experience in Contracts Department
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Experienced at designing new, and refining existing, processes necessary to get things done
  • Can effectively organize people and activities to accomplish departmental goals
  • Effective in a variety of formal presentation settings including one-on-one, small, and large groups
  • Ability to prepare effective PowerPoint presentations
  • Excellent analytical capabilities including Excel and database skills
  • Knowledge of rebate pricing
  • Travel less than 10% of the time

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

  • Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting/Finance/Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of work experience in Contracts field.
