Registration Coordinator

University of Ottawa

This is a Contract position in Ottawa, ON posted January 6, 2021.

Salary (Grade: 09) Hiring salary range $62954$79,523

Position Purpose

Plans, coordinates and monitors the admission and registration cycle for 900 residents in 75
programs at the postgraduate medical education (PGME) level. Plans and coordinates the
Canadian Residency Matching Service (CaRMS) process. Acts as a resource person for
trainees, Program Administrators (PA), Program Directors (PD) hospital leadership as well as for
external agencies.

Essential Qualifications

Knowledge of administration acquired through postsecondary education in a related
discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role.

Temporary assignment or contract of 24 months, with possibility of renewal. Eligibility to benefits and union affiliation will be determined upon hiring. The University also accepts external applications; they will be selected in second place. To obtain a temporary assignment, internal candidates must receive approval from their immediate supervisor. Schedule with an average of 35hrs/week.
