This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted March 26, 2021.

Royal Canadian Mint is hiring an Administrative Assistant who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Reporting to the Director, Regulatory Affairs (Compliance) the Administrative Assistant is responsible for administrative support for the Regulatory Affairs function.

They will also provide support as needed to other members of the Corporate and Legal Affairs team.

Key Responsibilities:
·Organize and assist in the tasking and completion of responses for Parliamentary Questions.
·Input and monitor the payment of invoices and issue Purchase Orders in DAX (ERP reporting tool).
·Issue payments for the team’s expenses needs and ensure reconciliation.
·Participate in the handling, processing, management and safekeeping of highly confidential information.
·Provide support for the preparation of various documents in both official languages such as preparing drafts, proofreading and formatting including documents for the Board of Directors.
·Complete general administrative tasks including but not limited to: oLiaise with internal and external clients to schedule meetings and appointments; oMake travel arrangements and process expense claims; oData entry intoHRIS system; oHandle correspondence and general inquiries.
·Assist in preparation and monitoring of the Regulatory Affairs’ budgets to ensure accuracy of payments.Requirements:
·College diploma or certificate in administration/related area or a combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered
·Minimum of 3 years of related business experience; experience in a regulatory environment is an asset
·Advanced proficiency level with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Adobe
·Experience inputting data into ERP reporting tool and HRIS, as well as data analysis
·Possess strong organizational and time management skills
·Exceptional attention to detail
·Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service oriented with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships
·Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, discretion and good judgement.
