Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Building and maintaining relationships with the application owners and managers within our client organization
• Managing critical incidents , gathering key information from supporting sources on the call, effectively determining appropriate courses of action, engaging and escalating involvement of required resources (from CGI, from the customer and/or from supporting vendors), to efficiently close the problem
• Create and improve processes to manage all incidents according to applicable priority for resolution in line with defined service level objectives
• Management status and service level objective reports
• Providing guidance to the offshore team, ensuring services are being delivered according to the contract
• Providing team feedback and developing action plans to remediate issues, identifying processes and skills required for continuous improvements in knowledge
• Working on development task during non-support hours hours
• Enhance the existing systems by implementing minor enhancements
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Assist with the day to day management/troubleshooting/fault isolation process for application problems on a 7/24 basis.

• Managing multiple testing environments (UAT, Staging, Pre-Prod) and related contentions Supports deployment activities, managing implementation issues to resolution
• Deploys automated code to production.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Technical Requirements:
• Expertise in writing and running SQL queries to manipulate large databases
• Programming Languages: Java, perl script, HTML, SQL
• Strong knowledge of reading logs, and Blob data.

• Experience using related SDLC and CI (continuous integration) tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Git.

• Operating Systems: UNIX, LINUX, Windows
• Experience with Unix/ Linux commands
• Knowledge of Cloud, Network, Loadbalancer(s), DNS, TCP/IP, SFTP/SSH, clustered web servers, clustered application servers, and highly available/scalable web architectures and disaster recovery techniques.

• Strong automation experience would be helpful
• Experience with XML, XSD, WSDL, and JSON based web services
• Managing the delivery of IT services
• Troubleshooting skills
• Leading and/or working with teams locally and remotely Assets:
• Willing to improve skill set through technical training and adhoc technical engagements
• Willing and eager to learn in different business and technology domains
• Willing to work under pressure
• Willing to work within a larger group
• Willing to work in a multi-vendor environment
• Willing to work outside business hours
• Willing to be on-call 7×24
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage through difficult situations when dealing with Severity 1&2 incidents, including communication to stakeholders and upper management
• Must be client focused
