The Application Sales Engineer, Dehumidification is responsible for delivering budgeted sales growth in the specified territory through the pro-active support of the Regional Sales Managers and sales agents.This is a permanent full time role with base salary, commission/bonus, benefits, RRSP and more.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesProvide information regarding changes in the market, customer relationships, and technical product requirements.Assist agents regarding technical projects, new products, competition, new market opportunities, etc.

that are designed to increase the sales and profits.Work and co-operate with other department members to develop present and future marketing plans for the company.Assume responsibility for the marketing and sales of the US/Canadian sales agents.Define opportunities to increase the sales and profits of the company.Visit and develop relations with end-user accounts.Visit agents to assist with dehumidification action plans.Work with the agents and their customers to increase the awareness of the need for dehumidification and equipment.Manage HVAC data system.Develop sales tools required for successful business support and growth.Assist the agents at local trade shows and meetings.Participate in national product shows as required.Conduct all business transactions in a manner that upholds the high ethical standards of the company.Adhere to Quality Assurance System.Other duties as assigned by Management.Skills and Experience RequirementsCollege or Technical degreeExperience in mechanical sales, preferably in HVAC or comparative with proven sales support record in selling to commercial / industrial clientsProven availability to manage a group of manufacturer’s representatives and increase growth and market share in the territoryDesiccant application knowledgeMust hold a valid passport and drivers license of which travel to the USA is not restricted nor requires additional visa considerationsBusiness travel as required (anticipated travel time 25% both by air and by car)Be capable of demonstrating equipment including during the roadshow and participating in tradeshows
