This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted March 23, 2021.

Ottawa, ON Our client, a leading international company offering medical and safety products and solutions, is looking for a Clinical Specialist to cover the Ottawa region.

The Clinical Specialist will assist in planning and conducting customer in-services and implementations and will provide clinical support to sales.

This person will be integral to the sales and implementation processes.

This is the perfect opportunity to break free of the hospital environment and leave shift work behind to work in private industry with a large medical device company!

Main responsibilities:Act as the user’s consultant, seemingly independent of the sales process.Collect competitive information, understand user sensitivity, and inform sales and marketing.Provide information to the sales force about user habits, needs or recommendation.Manage manpower availability within the hospital at the right time for large projects.Plan and organize demonstrations of equipment for complex sales and strategic accounts, in conjunction with sales and as defined by sales management.Organize local events based on technique and therapy to support the company’s solutions.Ensure optimal delivery of Clinical Education and Implementation program for assigned modalities.Provide ongoing customer support (in person or by telephone).Access customers’ clinical workflow requirements and make recommendations.

QualificationsRespiratory Therapist Degree or Diploma, mandatory.Valid Respiratory Therapist License, mandatory.Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing, using, or educating relevant medical device solutions in the healthcare environment.Bilingual fluency in French and English, an asset.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and consistent customer focus.Previous Ventilation and Operating room experience, an asset.Previous Adult and Neonatal ICU experience, an asset.Valid driving license.Position requires travel including overnight stays.Travel will vary and can be frequent at times.
