Bilingual Accounts Receivable AssociateLocated in Ottawa, ONYour new companyAn established property management and multi-family real estate company with 50 years of experience in the industry; a market leader in realestate, property management and acquisitions with locations in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, Ottawa, and Montréal.Your new roleAs a Bilingual Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding resident payment issues.

Working in our office in Montreal, you will be given the opportunity to work independently and use good business judgement and decision making to support the overall efforts of the team.Responsibilities will include, at a minimum: Directly contacting residents to resolve issues and to arrange for the collection of outstanding arrears; Interfacing andregularly communicating with the Operations and Legal teams to coordinate our overall collections strategy; Conducting individual account research and analysis to ensure that resident ledgers are accurate; Producing high-quality ageing receivables reports to assist in driving key business and operational strategies and decisions; Communicating and explaining to various stakeholders in the organization the current and potential future issues with specific accounts and developing strategies for their collection; Continuously seeking opportunities for improvement by identifying necessary process adjustments; Using MS Officeproducts including Teams and Excel to prepare various receivables and administrative reports; Other duties within the nature and spirit of the job, as required.What you will needBilingual in both French and EnglishExperience in property management and real estate industry, an assetKnowledge and experience in tenancy law including Quebec Civil Code notably the Tribunal administrative du logement (formerly the Régie du logement) forms and applications, an assetProficiency with MS Office productsDetail-oriented and well-organizedAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPerformance and goals orientedProven ability to work individually and in a team environmentWhat you will get in returnComprehensive benefit package that includes a competitive salary, paid vacation, paid sick days and an employer paid health plan with family coverage.
