If so, bring your skills to this key role, where you will provide consulting, guidance, and support within the Surgical Initiatives & Medical Device Reprocessing department.

This is a full time opportunity based at Support Services Facility in Langley, BC with travel throughout the Fraser Health region is required.

Build on you career experience as you: Provide leadership and quality improvement expertise to the department in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives designed to improve quality of service, service utilization, safety, and risk reduction.

Support to the department in the use of tools and mechanisms to measure, monitor, and evaluate initiatives designed to improve patient care outcomes.

Facilitate, coach and support the department in development, monitoring, and analysis of key performance indicators, in alignment with other departments in Shared Services.

Use your expert analysis skills of multiple sources of key performance data to promote a balanced approach to identifying and acting on improvement opportunities.

Lead the development and implementation of safety and risk indicators, and other risk prevention strategies.

Lead all aspects of and coordinate Provincial Ministry of Health (MOH) audits of MDR standards, protocols, practices and guidelines for Acute and Community and MDR sites.

Support MDR Accreditation reviews by leading all aspects of the coordination and implementation of best practice standards and processes.

We are looking for you to have: Undergraduate degree in a health related field, supplemented with additional courses, training or certification in quality improvement methodology, tools, implementation and evaluation.

Five (5) years progressively responsible experience which includes two (2) years within a quality improvement environment.

An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
