Parsons is seeking someone like you to strengthen our team and get the job done right Role: Performs quality activities on a high profile mine reclamation project to ensure that activities and performed work are in accordance with customer and Parsons Quality requirements.

Regularly interacts with representatives from Parsons Calgary office and the client, including program management, design/engineering, purchasing, construction, and other personnel.

Responsibilities: Quality assurance assessments and reporting of all engineered works Assist the PIP Team in developing the quality for the project implementation plan Assists Construction Manager and Safety with EHS program implementation; Contractor review, site inspections and enforcement of standards
– Provides support to the HS and Environmental managers, leads by example and actively participates in the EHS program (training, inspections, employee mentoring) Qualifications: 4-year degree in Engineering 4 years of experience in the construction / environmental industry performing technical and project management duties Preferably experience working in Northern Canada Knowledgeable of environmental industry practices and regulations Professional designation (or the ability to obtain one) as a professional engineer Proven experience in advising quality requirements for construction projects Experience in training field construction team in inspection and reporting required for the construction activities.

Very good interpersonal skills to work with other departments in a tactful and effective manner.

Very good written and verbal communication, analytical, problem solving, and risk assessment skills.

Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Visio.

Project Planning skills are essential.
