For more information, visitwww.Telesat.ComPURPOSE OF JOBThe Systems Analyst will join the LEO Software Requirements Management team and work collaboratively with business leaders, project Managers, technical leads, vendor architects and subject matter experts to develop and manage the function and non-functional requirements for the various software systems being developed as part of the Telesat LEO program.

They will ensure traceability from business requirements and technical requirements through to quality assurance and user acceptance testing.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Act as the Product Owner in an Agile Team to support delivery of softwareDevelop the functional and non-functional requirements by defining andanalyzing system problemsManages specifications using requirements management tooling (Jama, Jira,Confluence)Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and project team to ensure successful implementation of the solution EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED5+ years’ experience in a similar roleExperience in modern mobile and/or web application design patternsExperience as an Agile Product Owner for large scale enterprise application development and/or customer web application developmentExperience with cloud-native development and Behavior Driven DesignExperience working in cross-functional technical teamsStrong verbal and written communication skills in dealing with clients, internal and external stakeholders, senior management and staffAbility to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical individualsExperience with small, high-performing teamsA team player, collaborative and independently drivenMust demonstrate a flexible, open-minded attitude and have strong interpersonal skillsExperience effectively leading meetings and facilitating groups to reach consensusBilingual in English and French an asset DECISION MAKING & SUPERVISION:In this role, the incumbent will have significant influence on the architecture of the applications and infrastructure for the LEO program.

They will need to make recommendations and decisions based on their experience.Supervision ExercisedThis role has no direct reports, but will work and interact with multi-disciplinary engineering, contracts, legal, and commercial teams.The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods program (CGP)
