We are looking for a qualified Performance and Corporate Initiatives Manager for our Dartmouth, NS office.

The Performance and Corporate Initiatives Manager will maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Fleetway Business Management Model, work processes and contracting vehicles, in order to develop, coordinate and sometimes lead initiatives to deliver sustained business efficiency and effectiveness.

They will foster collaborative synergies in the company between activities in the domains of corporate services, business development, program management, contract management, operations, quality management, human resource management, and financial management in order to help maximize company effectiveness as per annual strategy plans, goals and objectives.

Working with Directors and Senior Managers, the Performance and Corporate Initiatives Manager will develop internal performance metrics that will help focus leadership on the sustained productivity of employees, improvements to wasteful processes, and optimize use of IT systems and software amongst other factors.

They will also work with our Senior Management Team to help evolve better program execution metrics, job execution metrics, employee productivity metrics from the many and varied data sources available to the company.

Qualifications & Skills: Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce or Engineering and MBA or MPA, and PMP or LEAN, with relevant performance measurement and management experiences 10 years relevant work experience Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian government security clearances Key Responsibilities & Outcomes: Leads Fleetway continuous improvement initiatives via assessing most effective use of corporate tools, assisting in the developing of our organizational capacity and skills to conduct estimating of potential work, and assisting in the rightsizing of our Business Management Model (QA) Develops employee productivity metrics, tools, reporting.

Works with the Managing Director and Senior Management Team by recommending, planning and leading efficiency initiatives in the structuring of the work, supervision, management, and performance measurement of all employees Drives initiatives to integrate company financial metrics into all facets of business undertakings, with particular emphasis on the optimization of the JD Edwards (E1) capability, and the maximization of its potential in domains such time entry, purchasing, forecasting, and business intelligence support Management of the time entry processes and alignment with contracts to ensure accuracy What We Offer: The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary commensurate with skill, ability and experience, along with a comprehensive package including: Health and wellness benefits (including Fitness Reimbursement) Flexible work hours Enrollment in company RRSP matching program Company jacket, casual Friday’s Access to on-site gym Additionally, in your covering letter, we ask if you could identify how your work background and experience aligns with the job profile and requirements.
