Warehouse Supervisor

Magneto Electric Service Co. Ltd.

This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted June 9, 2021.

Receiving all products from vendors as delivered, including the verification of the quantity of items received as well as assuring that it is the correct product ordered.

Organize shipment of all products to customers in a timely and orderly manner.

Liaison with drivers to ensure delivery to customer locations safely and timely.

Able to create job number and accurately document all required information.

Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.

Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy.

Managing RMA’s to and from vendors and customers in a timely fashion.

In charge of all warehousing activities, maintenance and cleanliness.

Picking, packaging and shipping all orders that are to be completed and shipped from the warehouse on a daily basis.

Ensure that product standards are met as it pertains to proper inspection, packaging, stickers, and taping.

Entering orders received and shipped in the Company’s Business System.

Tracking shipments and sending out confirmation of tracking numbers to customers.

Prepare all required custom and shipping documentation for international orders.

Ensuring product that requires storage is placed in the appropriate area, including placing any product that is for stock onto the shelves in the proper locations.

Loading and unloading trucks in adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Participating in annual inventory.

Participating in cycle/physical counts as required.

Undertake efficiency measures and special projects as required Other duties as required.

Job Type: Full-time EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Must have negative COVID test results or first COVID shot completed.

Must be detail oriented and process get things done correctly and accurately attribute.

Interface with customers and transportation vendors to answer questions or solve problems.

Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status.

Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.

Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.

Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor.

Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.

Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.

Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.

Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration.

Ability to lift 70 lbs.

and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs.

with appropriate equipment Fluent English (verbal and written).
